The best Christmas Joy
Last year’s Christmas day was extra special: I witnessed a miracle. Being part of the arrival of little Emilia on Christmas day was nothing short of amazing.
To top it off, Emilia was born en caul, which means the she came out still inside an intact amniotic sac (caul). This might make it look like your newborn is completely gift-wrapped in a soft, jello-like bubble. This rare thing of beauty happens in less than 1 in 80,000 births.
I am so in love with the images from this very special day as they show the emotions, strength and power of birth and the immense joy of her beautiful mum to finally hold the long awaited little girl safely in her arms.
